Color Count
Ignore the shapes. Count one colour. Then report your number.
1, then 16, then 2, then 15… and the numbers aren't in rows.
Sixteen numbers are scattered freely — no grid to scan along.
Tap them alternating from both ends: 1, 16, 2, 15, 3, 14 and so on.
The prompt always shows what's next. Fastest time wins.
Two things make this harder than a plain Schulte table. Free positions remove the row-by-row sweep, so you cannot fall into a scanning rhythm. And alternating between both ends means you hold two separate counters at once, switching between them on every single tap.
Under 30 seconds is solid and under 22 is sharp. If you're over a minute, try the classic 5×5 table first.
Locate the next high number while you're still reaching for the low one. Searching from scratch after every tap is what costs the time.

Memorize 1–9, then tap in order after the digits vanish.
